The Criminal Justice Department strongly recommends a minor in an area of interest to the students. Common minors are:
- Legal Studies – (qualifies student for paralegal certificate)
- Any other social science (sociology, psychology, political science)
- Languages
- Many others including philosophy and journalism have been done by our students.
We also feature a B.A./M.S. program for advanced students allowing them to get a Master's degree in 5 years. For the B.A./M.S. program students substitute CRJ 501 and CRJ 502 for the CRJ major electives in their senior year.
