International Student Teaching

Distinguish yourself from other teachers!
International Student Teaching in London or Norway every Spring semester.

Student teaching is a key component of all teacher certification programs. Molloy will arrange for your student teaching assignment here on Long Island if that is your desire.  But we also encourage our students to do their student teaching practicum at one of our partner universities in either Norway or England.  Any type of study abroad experience expands your horizon but teaching abroad is an amazing cultural adventure.  You will experience the social and ethnic aspects of the country and you will learn a great deal about yourself, your ability to be independent and your ability to teach.

To participate in this program, the only additional costs would be your airfare and your room and board.  The tuition cost is the same as your Molloy tuition.

Molloy College has both exchange and reciprocity agreements with Telemark University in Norway and St. Mary's College in Twinkenham, England for its students to do their student teaching abroad.

Please visit the websites of our partner colleges to see what they have to offer you:

Finally, and probably most important - you will become a more interesting person, with added self-reliance and the ability to rise to any occasion that presents itself.

So where do you begin? Stop down to the Office of International Education located in the Public Square and make
your dream a reality. We can help you get placed in an exciting internship that will enhance your resume and your self confidence. There are even partial scholarships available.
