Kathleen Conway: Director, First Year Experience and Associate Professor of English.

Dr. Kathleen Conway earned a B.A. in English from the College of New Rochelle, an M.A. in English from New York University and a D.A. in English from St. John's University.

As director of the First Year Experience, Dr. Conway oversees and coordinates the program for the first year students. She works in consultation with the Offices of Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management and Student Affairs to ensure a successful transition into Molloy College for all our new students.

An associate professor of the Royal English Department, Dr. Conway teaches courses in literature and in composition. Her area of specialty is the nineteenth century novel. Dr. Conway published articles on the novels of  Jane Austen, Charlotte Brontë and George Eliot. In addition, she coordinates Molloy College's Communicating Across the Curriculum Program, which supports the efforts of faculty to assure that graduates can think critically and convey their thoughts clearly.
