New Orleans

Each year we travel to New Orleans to assist in the continued rebuilding efforts, since Hurricane Katrina left the city devastated. Our students work with local not-for-profits, including the Rebuild Center, Habitat for Humanity, Hands on New Orleans and LowerNine.org. The service includes working with inner city homeless people and those who have been displaced since August, 2005.

Our students get an opportunity to tour the French Quarter, the Garden District, the bayou and the banks of the Mississippi River.
