Social Work Professional Development

Licensed master social workers (LMSW) and licensed clinical social workers (LCSW) will be required to complete 36 hours of acceptable continuing education during their triennial registration period, or one hour per month in registration periods other than 36 months, starting January 1, 2015. Molloy College plans to become a provider of continuing education for Licensed Master Social Workers and Licensed Clinical Social Workers when the new new requirements go into effect and we will plan to offer continuing education opportunities in 2015. Palliative Care Conference

7th Annual Conference

Molloy College, in collaboration with FEGS Health & Human Services System and other community partners, is pleased to be offering its sixth annual Palliative Care Conference on Long Island. The conference will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. in the Madison Theater at Molloy's Rockville Centre campus. The agenda for the day will include a Keynote Session, a series of topics offered during two concurrent sessions, lunch and a Closing Session. The main objective of this year's conference is for the participants to enhance their ability to provide professional, competent, empathetic care to patients and their families.   Fees: Early Registration by March 27: $75; Regular Registration, March 28 - May 15: $95; Late registration, after May 8 or at the door: $115; Full-time students (must include copy of student ID: $25.
