R.N. Refresher

R.N. Refresher
This 150-hour refresher course is designed to provide an update of both theoretical content and clinical practice. An environment conducive to learning and knowledgeable master's-prepared supportive staff guide the individual to return to the bedside. Content includes over 70 hours of medical surgical conditions encountered and their treatment modalities. Clinical content includes over 70 hours of application of theory and practical hands-on experience treating patients (dressings, medications, physical assessments, IVs etc.) A Molloy College certificate will be awarded on completion of the program.

The R.N. refresher program is offered 4 times a year; fall, winter, spring and summer. We offer the program at our Rockville Centre campus during the weekday evening (6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.) and weekend clinicals and at our Suffolk Center in Farmingdale two days (9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.) during the week with weekend clinical sessions. Seating is limited - Enroll Early!

Prerequisites include: Completed application with biography, R.N. license, current C.P.R. certification for healthcare professionals (BLS), recent physical exam and updated immunizations and malpractice insurance.
