Notary Public

This course will prepare you to take the Notary Public exam given by the State of New York. You can become a commissioner of deeds and/or a public official. The course will discuss:

- Domestic relations
- Election
- Penal
- Property
- Banking
- Civil Law

New York state preparation materials will be distributed. Instructor: Andrew O. Stein, J.D.; Director, Practice Area Content, LexisNexis/Matthew Bender. This is a one-session, 3-hour course that is usually given once a month throughout the year either in the evening, or on Saturday mornings.

Tuition
Tuition is $60. There are no course fees. Tuition payment is due at the time of registration. However, if your company is paying for the course we will invoice your company. Please provide us with your company's purchase order, educational voucher or documentation on company letterhead stating that they are responsible for payment along with the registration form and we will process an invoice directly to your company. Invoicing is available only if you register by mail or fax.

Registration
Students should register for classes at least one week prior to the start of classes to insure enough time for you to get your confirmation and parking permit. However, you can register up until the day of class. Please note that some of our classes do close out and some of our classes do cancel, so you may be taking a chance of not getting into the course of your choice by waiting.
