In today's rapidly changing socio-economic world, those who stand still have little chance of getting ahead. At Long Island's Molloy College, our Division of Continuing Education and Professional Development is dedicated to providing flexible educational programming for the adult learner looking to advance their career, train for a new one or fulfill a passion for learning. We offer programs for:
Careers and Professional Development
Online Courses and Online Certificate Programs are also offered in most areas.
Conferences are offered throughout the year in many different areas and may be of interest to nurses, teachers, counselors, social workers, music therapists, speech-language pathologists, students and the general public.
At Molloy College, you can:
- Pursue a new career path. We offer coursework that will enable you to start a new career as an:
child care worker
human resources manager
real estate salesperson
- Improve job performance and build your resume. Keep current in your profession with our professional development courses, workshops and conferences in:
computers & technology
- Broaden your horizons. Take courses for the pure and simple enjoyment of learning in such areas as languages, writing, test preparation and Irish studies.
- Find a course schedule that fits your schedule. Courses are scheduled days, evenings and weekends at our Rockville Centre campus or our Suffolk Center campus in East Farmingdale, as well as online.
Register online, anytime. At Molloy, we believe that registration should not be the hardest part of taking a class. So we make it easy to register online or by phone, fax, mail, or in-person. Our office is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the week and from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Please note that during July and August, the office is closed on Fridays, at 5 p.m. most evenings and most Saturdays.
OUR GUARANTEE TO YOU!
If you take a course, have attended each class, and still do not master the course work, we invite you to re-register for the same course, same level, free of charge (exceptions: CHSEE Prep, SAT Preparation, Regents Review, Nursing, online courses, ESL courses or courses for re-licensure or re-certification). Your registration will be accepted on a space available basis within one year of the course end date. Re-registration in the course is required.
In addition, during the first hour of class the instructor will present an outline of the course, along with the course goals and objectives. If the student does not feel that this course will meet their expectations, then a full refund will be granted if the student presents their refund request on the first business day after the class has met.
If you have any questions, please call our office at 516-323-3550 for clarification.
