Siena Women's Center Leadership Initiative

The Young Women's Leadership Initiative (YWLI) was established in September of 2008 with grant funding from New York Community Bank (formerly Roslyn Savings Foundation). The focus of the program is to select a group of young women of diverse backgrounds and majors who are in good academic standing with the intent of increasing social and political awareness with regard to current women's issues.

Young women selected to participate in the YWLI attend lectures and seminars, the Molloy Women's Business Luncheon and other award/grant foundation events. The YWLI have the opportunity to network with prominent women from many walks of life. In addition, we schedule a yearly trip, paid through grant funding. Past trips have included Washington D.C., Albany, Rochester and Seneca Falls.
