DSM 5 Conference at Molloy College a huge success
On Friday April 4, 2014 Molloy College hosted a very successful conference entitled ("The DSM 5: What You Need To Know From The Experts.") The Conference was held in the Madison Theatre, and was attended by more than 420 participants from the Metropolitan area. The attendees represented a broad range of the mental health professions. Participants in the DSM 5 Conference qualified for Continuing Education Credits in Music Therapy, Nursing, Speech & Language Pathology, Social Work, and CASAC.
The event was a phenomenal success, disseminating crucial information about the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychiatric Association, Fifth Edition, to a significant segment of its user base. This ambitious undertaking was conceived of by Dr. Kestemberg and executed with the full participation of Dean Lou Cino and his Division of Continuing Education, and Professional Development. The Mission of Molloy College was exquisitely well served and advanced by this event.
