All assistantships are available for September 5, 2014. Positions are 10 hours per week for 15 weeks. Recipients receive three (3) graduate credits a semester and a $500 stipend at the completion of the assistantship. Graduate Assistants must be enrolled in at least six (6) graduate credits to qualify. Positions will be filled as complete packets (application, resume and two references) are received in the Human Resources Office. Position title: Graduate Assistant - Facility/Operations and Game Management Assistant (2 positions)


1. Game setup for nine sports (set up)
2. Assist in preparation of contest contracts
3. Facilitate game tape exchange and filming of contests
4. Organize and schedule game activities at half time for community engagement
5. Van oversight to include preventive maintenance schedule, fuel monitoring and cleanliness
6. Assist in supervision of work study personnel
7. Uniform preparation to include laundry and inventory
8. Management of gate and concessions
9. Host duties involving visiting teams
10. Site administrator for specific contests


1. Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher
2. Prior involvement in athletics a plus

Hours: Various hours based on game schedules. Nights and weekends required.
