Molloy College Nursing Continuing Education offers courses for the nurse who wants to grow professionally, or who has been away from the practice and is planning to return. Come to Molloy College to refresh and increase your knowledge and practice skills.

Molloy College Continuing Education Department is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the New York State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Schedule of Classes

Registration & Payment
There is limited enrollment in some classes and popular courses fill up quickly.
Register early - don't be closed out of a course! All registrations are processed in order received. Fill out the registration form and send with a check, or money order, payable to Molloy College. Mail-in registration must be received 5 days prior to start of the course. Telephone registrations are accepted over the phone with Visa or Master Card, until the start of class.

Payment must be paid in full at time of registration. Tuition is indicated after each course description. Grant funding may reduce the fee of some classes. 

Classroom Assignments
Classroom assignments are posted on the bulletin board in the Siena Hall, outside Room 106, prior to class beginning.

Refunds
If a course is canceled by Molloy College, and the student does not wish to transfer to another course, a full refund will be made. If a student decides to withdraw from a class prior to the start of classes a full refund will be issued*. Non-attendance in a class does not constitute an official withdrawal.

*Exceptions: RN Refresher, Hemodialysis, BCLS, ACLS. Cancellations must be received five working days prior to the start of class.

Courses now offered in Suffolk!

Molloy College offers the graduate nursing and nursing continuing education courses at its Suffolk Site at Route 110, on the grounds of Republic Airport in East Farmingdale.

Graduate courses will be offered to educate nurses for advanced roles in the following disciplines: Nurse Education, Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult Nurse Practitioner. Courses will be offered during the day and in the evenings starting on September 7.

New Continuing Education Courses for Nursing

School Nurse Training Course is a course that takes place in the school setting and provides the registered nurse with 4 days of experience learning the role and various responsibilities of the school nurse.

Spanish for the Healthcare Provider is an introductory course that will help you understand and communicate in Spanish with your patient.

Individual Care Plans in the School Setting is a three-hour course intended for the school nurse who needs to learn to construct and implement individual care plans for students.

In today's world, the use and availability of computers is a vital component of a well-rounded college experience. At Molloy, we're continually upgrading our computer services. We can boast of a ratio of one computer for every five full-time students, as well as readily available laptops. To make sure our technology stays current and is the best, we are committed to a three-year rotation of all computers in the Academic Labs and to the expansion of campus-wide wireless capabilities for our students' convenience. As of now, virtually the entire campus has wireless access, including several outdoor areas, and the future will see wireless kiosks for students to access computer services.
